A Vanilla Android Version for the HTC One

HTC One owners may be pleased to know that HTC is planning to release a vanilla Android custom rom. This news may be of no interest to some, but on the other hand, die-hard fans of HTC One as well as Android enthusiasts might be delighted to hear this.

It is a fact that vanilla Android is generally more responsive than the customized Android versions normally sold with Android phones. The reason is that vanilla Android does not include the many applications that have been added by the manufacturer. Such applications normally consume processing power and memory and slow down the device as a result. Another advantage of vanilla Android is that updates are usually carried out as soon as a new version of Android is released by Google.

Having said this, it does not necessarily mean that the Google version of HTC will be better than the one presently available on the market. The HTC One includes software that has been made specifically to take advantages of the technology on the HTC One. This interesting technology rolex replica includes the BoomSound speakers and the UltraPixel camera. Although it is still too early to tell, I would not be surprised if the vanilla Android version would not be capable of take full advantage of the technology that lies under the cover of the HTC One.

According to the rumours, this version of HTC One will come with Android version 4.2.2. The Google version of the HTC One is expected to go on sale on June 26th. However it is still not clear whether or not will this version of the HTC One be sold in the Google Play Store.
