Samsung Galaxy Mega – a New Range of Phablets

Samsung have recently announced that it will be launching a new range of phablets by the name of Galaxy Mega. Galaxy Mega will come in two flavours, a 5.8 inch version and a 6.3 inch version. Unlike Samsung’s Galaxy S3, S4 and the Note II, these phablets will not have a quad core processor. The 5.8 inch version will have a 1.4 GHz dual core processor and 16 GB of internal memory while the 6.3 inch version will come with a 1.7 GHz processor and 8 GB of internal memory.

Both phablets will support microSD cards of up to 64GB memory. At the same time, the phablets will have a 1.9 megapixel camera at the front and an 8 megapixel camera at the rear and both will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. No price details have been released yet, however one can expect the price range to be lower than that of the S4 and Note II, given that they Samsung Galaxy Mega range of phablets will sport dual core processors.
